There is a fraudulent email currently being sent with the subject heading “Incoming Transactions Report.” The message appears to be from an email address at Visa, but this is not the case. If you receive an email message like this one, do not open the zip attachment.

By understanding how the VISA & MasterCard telephone Credit Card Scam works, you'll be better prepared to protect yourself. This is happening in the Midwest right now and moving. It appears that this is a very active scam and evidently quite successful. This one is tricky since they provide you with all the information, except the one piece they want (the 3-digit verification number). Note: the callers do not ask for your card number, they already have it.

We are proud to be a Gold sponsor for the annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration & Parade in the Crosslake area! There are events all day long. In addition, the annual hunt for the lost Pot O' Gold begins on Thursday. Last year, more than 17,000 people attended the parade and it is an event you do not want to miss!
