There is a fraudulent email currently being sent with the subject heading “Incoming Transactions Report.” The message appears to be from an email address at Visa, but this is not the case. If you receive an email message like this one, do not open the zip attachment.

By understanding how the VISA & MasterCard telephone Credit Card Scam works, you'll be better prepared to protect yourself. This is happening in the Midwest right now and moving. It appears that this is a very active scam and evidently quite successful. This one is tricky since they provide you with all the information, except the one piece they want (the 3-digit verification number). Note: the callers do not ask for your card number, they already have it.

BlackRidgeBANK-Alexandria region employees recently donated $1,094.00 to four local organizations. The money was raised during the year through their Denim on Fridays program. The organizations that benefited were: Lakes Area Humane Society, Elder Network, Nutrition Services Center/Meals on Wheels, and the Jefferson High School Food Shelf.
Brainerd/Baxter branch begins remodel

It's official! The hammers are swinging and the saws are cutting wood as the Brainerd/Baxter branch of BlackRidgeBANK begins a significant interior remodel of its banking facility. Work began on the project Thursday, November 1st after months of planning and organizing.
